Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland is inviting people to nominate an animal charity to receive €5,000 as part of Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards.
The special draw is designed for charities whose core charitable purpose is the advancement of animal and wildlife welfare, including the prevention or suppression of cruelty to animals and wildlife, or the prevention or relief of suffering by animals and wildlife.
Nominations for the animal charity special grants are open from Monday 17 April to Friday 21 April. It’s quick and easy to nominate an animal charity online at https://animal.movementforgood.com/.
Winners will be drawn at random and the more times a charity is nominated the more chance it has of being selected.
The Movement for Good Awards has supported numerous Irish charities in the past with previous animal charity winners including: Galway Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals, Phibsboro Cat Rescue, Seal Rescue Ireland based in Wexford, The Haven Rescue Tipperary, Dundalk Dog Rescue, Wicklow SPCA, My Lovely Horse Rescue Company in Offaly and many more. The awards support charities by providing them with necessary funding and highlighting the excellent efforts made by volunteers and workers.
David Lane, Managing Director of Ecclesiastical Insurance, proudly part of the Benefact Group says: “Now in its fifth year, the Movement for Good Awards will once again see more than €1million gifted to charities up and down Ireland and the UK.
Through this special grant we’re encouraging everyone to nominate an animal charity this week for the chance to win €5,000 to support the incredible work that so many charities do to support animals and wildlife in need.”
Movement for Good is funded by EIO plc, part of the Benefact Group.
