  Wicklow SPCA assisted officers from the ISPCA following a report of neglect to a number of dogs in Co. Wicklow. 4 dogs were removed from a property . The Husky is 10 years plus and was in very poor condition. All the dogs were under nourished with matted coats and overgrown nails. We are inundated with requests and offers of homes, foster care etc. These dogs are completely unsocialised and require a lot of time and patience from our team. Wicklow spca recently assisted our colleagues in the Ispca with the rescue of numerous dogs from a dog breeding situation . These dogs are in their own lockdown and seek any hiding place possible, backing into corners or hiding behind their beds. Totally unsocialised and fearful of every sound and movement. We recently admitted a large number of dogs which were rescued from a puppy farm situation. The dogs are in their own lockdown. Every movement sends them running into corners , staring into space and seeking a hiding place.
