Wicklow Spca would like to acknowledge Minister  Charlie McConalogue  Department of Agriculture ,food and the Marine for their allocation of €75,000 to our Society to support us in our work and animal welfare activities for the year 2022. Filming - We had Mícheál Ó Scannáil and his team with us for a morning of filming and 5th class from Rathdrum boys NS were the stars of the show. It will be go our on air this afternoon between 4 and 4.30 on network 2. Thanks very much to everyone for all their help today   news2day

  Wicklow SPCA assisted officers from the ISPCA following a report of neglect to a number of dogs in Co. Wicklow. 4 dogs were removed from a property . The Husky is 10 years plus and was in very poor condition. All the dogs were under nourished with matted coats and overgrown nails.
